About this limited edition photograph:
The photograph “Coldwater Cave- Speleothem Bacon” was created in a private cave located in Winneshiek County, Iowa.
I created this photograph by setting up my Canon 80d camera with a Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX II lens on a tripod. I used my ElSpeleo Rescue 2200 caving headlamp to carefully illuminate the bacon formation from behind. This caused the formation to light up. I was very careful not to tough the formation with my headlamp so that I would not damage it. I then used my headlamp to cast light onto the rest of the cave
