About this limited edition photograph:
The composite long exposure photograph “Final Resting Place Among Fireflies” was created in Palisades Park in Decorah, Iowa.
To create this composite long exposure photograph I placed my Canon 80d camera with a Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX II lens on my tripod. I then created a timelapse that consisted of (77) 15 second exposures to capture the lightning bugs as they flashed. I took the 77 exposures into Photoshop and blended them together into one image. The resulting photograph is Final Resting Place Among Fireflies.
